Mix myself silly.
Back on the block. New album postponed as usual with the notation that an EP will supersede it. Thought about doing a whole semi-acoustic album but that would be overkill. The Return Of Dr. No - TFSM is scheduled for the end of this year. Mails requesting and hinting towards another Reasons album are blissfully ignored. :-) My new place and environment are doin' me good and I am pleased to say that my inhibitions about it all have parted with the rains. Love and beauty to look at every day is the best remedy for depression and the downsides of life. I am grateful again. My inspiration is still left to be desired but things will get better over time for sure. A Toni Braxton remix in almost finished. An entry in the Rrob.com techno contest. Enough to keep the artman busy for a while.

Let the good times roll !
A couple of really hard weeks for me in the rear view mirror. Many great, healthy ones ahead. Back on the radar and opening up all the registers on the musical front. It looks to me like some things are just meant to happen. Good or bad. I'm running on an overdose of good feelings and support from my dear, dear friends who stood by me, thick or thin. Things to look out for the next couple of weeks ; the back catalog back online (YES!), new remixes, another album and the rest of the scoop on my down-time. I'm looking forward to start abusing my hardware again in a brand new place in a brand new space in time. New Art&Rreal track coming up soon. Now, ... if that's not progressing right ahead than I don't know. Thanx all for your patience and best wishes and for those who were there for me like no one else; you guys rock and I'm all this right next to you.

Just a thought . . .
La mirada de mi vida.
Time in the sun's the best and brings me back home. It makes me wonder what I've been doing back in the lowlands. My body and mindset are not made for that. For the climate and the whole consensus down there. I need to have salsa music and temperatures above 22c. A nite in the studio with my old friend Supermax was a gem. We took a look at the old version of the remake of our track and decided that opening it back up would be necrophilia and would not do the track justice. So we did a new one. I think a timeless and fantastic piece. But that's me. We had fun and creating sounds with a heavy weight like Kurt's always an experience to remember. I'll take the track with me and see if I can find a spot to master it after which I will post it on the site. Needles to say I miss you guys at AFM and messing with the Friday nite airwaves. But my memories are sweet and I cherry them closely. Things move fast from here on and I can't wait to get to Los Angeles and set up the gear and start slaving again. From there on the production part will kick back in and I'll get up to par again. But first more sun, salsa dancing and long loving nites for me and my baby.
